Pupil Voice

I thought that drawing and sketching with Becky (the artist) was lots of fun. It made me realise that art doesn't have to be perfect. I liked using our sketch books to draw 3d shapes and objects. I wasn't very good at the start, but by the end I had learned lots of tips and felt much more confident. Daniel (Class 5)

It was wonderful to see my artwork framed and on display at a 'real-life' gallery. I also enjoyed looking at the different pieces of art and meeting the Lord Mayor of Liverpool! Rachel (Class 15)

When I’m sketching, I like it when we do peer feedback because I like looking at others’ work as well as swapping with my partner. It helps me to improve and get some advice from other people on where I can improve. This year, I enjoyed making a Viking shield and felt proud that it was chosen to go on display. Joseph (Class 10)

This year, my favourite topic was when we designed our own covers for the 'We are Writers' book. After visiting Spellow Lane library and evaluating lots of different book covers, I had lots of ideas to try out in my sketch book. I am looking forward to finding out which design is chosen to go on the front cover of the book that everbody takes home. Harry (Class 7)
