I hope you have all had time to digest the previous letter and meeting in regard to the PGL trip and even looked at their website.
For parents who are new to PGL, they are a leading residential activity centre provider, responsible for delivering safe and rewarding educational programmes to over 130,000 children every year. By combining many National Curriculum-linked modules with thrilling outdoor and indoor adventure activities, this trip is sure to provide your child with a wealth of new experiences outside of the classroom.
Residential courses organised by the school are, of course, an optional but invaluable part of the National Curriculum. Pupils benefit hugely from the experience, both educationally and socially and I feel certain that the programme which we have chosen will prove to be both enjoyable and very worthwhile.
As a reminder, we have made this opportunity available to all Year 4 pupils and are funding the trip. We will be leaving school at 9:30am on Wednesday 3rd May and arriving back at school at 4:15pm on Friday 5th May.
In the meantime, if you wish to find out more about the ethos of PGL, their programmes and safety information, you can access their website by clicking the link below.
