First Holy Communion
After months of preparation, members of Class 7 and Class 8 took an important step forward in their Catholic journeys today by receiving Holy Communion for the first time. All of the children demonstrated just how responsible and respectful they are in church during Father Ged’s wonderful service.
Celebrations commenced in style back over at school. It was fantastic to see our school hall jam-packed with the children and their families, as a delicious range of refreshments were enjoyed by all. Feeling full, the children waved goodbye to their families and began preparing their best moves for a fabulous disco in the afternoon!
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who was involved in the Sacramental preparations. To all of the children, many congratulations are in order. As Father Ged has said, today might have marked the end of the preparations, but it was only the beginning in so many other ways!
